Fan favorite and Patreon extraordinaire lead-off hitter Albertstar Galactica aka Albert Galatan and his more talented wife Dr. Ilana Slaff sit down with the crew from their home in Queens as we explore the needs of special learners and exceptional behavioral challenges posed by people living with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Slaff is a highly decorated and accomplished MD, author and educator as well as a damn fine runner in her own right, landing on the age group podium at the USATF 50k Road Championships earlier this year. Albert is a lawyer by day and also dabbles in the marathons and ultras which tells me that it's okay to have a really good job and still make terrible life decisions. The crew announces the weekly winner of the Social Distance Challenge and we call out one of our favorite listeners and name our newest challenge after him. We talk up Steep Endurance's insane VERTual Challenge and just generally get jiggy wit it.
